On the 12th November 2011, SSAA Ravenshoe and District Branch Inc hosted the National Servicemen’s Association of Australia (Qld) Inc. annual shoot. Twenty-one members from the Tableland, Cairns and Innisfail Branches took part in the shoot.
A sunny but not too hot or windy morning, were showed to be the perfect conditions for the Rimfires and all participants enjoyed the practice rounds followed by the Hunter Class Rimfire Competition that John Hardy from Walkamin won. The second and third runners up were Don Locarnini from Wondecla and Rob Saunders from Innisfail respectively.
The shield already engraved with the last two-year’s winners was presented to John Hardy and his name will be engraved as the 2011 NASHO shoot winner.
A bbq followed to end the day and was most appreciated by all participants.
SSAA Ravenshoe and District Branch Inc will host the next NASHO shoot on Saturday 10th November 2012.
